Pastor W. Michael Wheeler

Pastor W. Michael Wheeler has served as the pastor of Macedonia Church Of God In Christ since December 2009 and is married to the love of his life, Lady Roshun Wheeler.

In 1982 he responded to the will of God for his life and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior during a tarry service at Holy Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance in Baltimore, Md. Although he knew that his life was changed on the night of that remarkable service, he wanted to be certain that his life was forever sealed in Christ and continued to seek the Lord to speak in other tongues. While attending a church in Baltimore, he went up for prayer and the late Bishop Milledge Golphin, former Pastor of New Galilee Church Of God In Christ, Inc., prayed for him and the power of the Lord fell upon him. Pastor Wheeler then experienced the awesome power of God and received confirmation of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through the speaking in tongues.
He obtained spiritual tutelage under the late Bishop Golphin and Bishop Carlis Moody, International President of the Missions Department COGIC, Inc. Following the completion of the Germany Jurisdiction “Ministerial Effectiveness Leadership Training (MELT)” course, he was ordained an Elder in the Church Of God In Christ by Bishop Moody.
Pastor Wheeler received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, from South Carolina State University and completed over 25 years of military service.

Following a job transfer to South Florida, he joined Macedonia COGIC under the leadership of the late Superintendent Paul Golatt, Jr. where he faithfully supported the ministry and was later appointed Pastor.  The Lord revealed His vision for the ministry to Pastor Wheeler while attending an Elders’ Conference in Orlando, Florida; for the Bible says “without a vision the people will perish”. The vision of “Transforming Ministry and Reaching Forward into the Kingdom of God” resonated in his spirit along with spiritual foundational values of “Prayer, Worship, Ministry, Study and Giving”.
The Lord continues to reaffirm His vision through Pastor Wheeler as he endeavors to teach and preach the Kingdom of God. He is a faithful and caring servant to the Lord’s people, holding fast to the scripture as quoted in Ecclesiastes 9:10a which says, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might”.
